The Branch Website

Welcome to the new branch website. This page describes some of the new features as well as some of the planned enhancements to this site. But first we need to look at some of the requirements to fully appreciate this site

A user's guide is available here:

This web site has to use javascript. Javascript is a programming language that is run in the browser and it runs on your computer, not the web server. This can be considered a security issue, but you can be assur.red that this web site will not use this in a malicious manner. Besides creating popup windows, we use it to check the local time of your computer and to validate entries you make.

Yhis web site uses cookies. At the moment, we only use cookies to check the local time on your computer. In the future we may also use them to remember your email address and password so you won't have to enter them also every time you visit the web site. Cookies are benign, they are not dangerous though some sites do use them to track your browsing history. We really aren't interested in knowing what other sites you visit.

The following links describe the methods to enable these features safely for several popular web browsers. If you run another web browser, you might find one of these descriptions that is similar to the browser you use.

Microsoft Edge
