Asilomar Weekend Workshop

An over 60 year San Francisco Branch tradition!

The Asilomar Weekend Workshop is a wonderful weekend usually held annually at the Asilomar Conference Grounds on the spectacular Monterey Peninsula in Pacific Grove, California. Asilomar is also a California State Park and a national Historic Landmark. Usually held in the fall, October or November, the Weekend kicks off Friday night with dinner followed by an informal welcome dance and ceilidh. Dance classes are held during the day on Saturday, and also in the historic Merrill Hall on Sunday morning. A formal ball and social are held in Merrill Hall on Saturday evening.

A grand San Francisco Branch tradition for well over sixty years. We strongly encourage dancers and non-dancers alike to attend and experience the magic and charm of Asilomar. Whether you are a dancer with one year of dance experience or you’re a non-dancer we look forward to welcoming you to Scottish country dance at Asilomar.
